University of Louisiana at Lafayette AmeriCorps

UL Lafayette corps members will assist in on-going environmental stewardship through native plant restoration, invasive species removal, and other green infrastructure projects while serving and engaging the public on the importance of environmental sustainability to students, faculty, and groups/organizations at both the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Moncus Park. UL AmeriCorps members will also assist Lafayette Habitat for Humanity with construcion of new homes, tool preparation, guide small groups of outside volunteers to provide affordable housing in the community.
