City Year Baton Rouge

City Year Baton Rouge AmeriCorps members serve full time in the ten Baton Rouge public schools to provide students with the one-on-one support to overcome the challenges they face both in school and out.  City Year partners with schools and teachers to help transform the whole school - including improving students' attendance, leading school-wide events, providing after school programming and leading individual and small group tutoring sessions for students in math and English Language Arts.  As a result, City Year helps students reach their full potential to ensure they graduate high school ready for college or career.
